A truly magical flying site with incredible views. The take off is at 1550m, at the top of a venturi and some 600m over the official landing area. One should take off relatively soon as the wind normally gets too strong after midday. But once you are in the air you can spend hours discovering the surroundings and searching for Inca trails from the air. There are many landing possibilities along the Panamarican Route 40, but be sure to bring enough water with you and some protection from the sun. In the evening, one can usually ride the magic air until the night closes in. If there is no full moon, of course.
